Fifteen-year-old Raissa Santos has submitted to the Code her whole life, living under the watchful gaze of cameras within the city of Gideon. When the handsome and mysterious Arkin Pettigrew appears at school, Raissa's world is turned upside down. Suddenly, her older sister, Petra, is arrested for possession of enemy propaganda, and Arkin reveals his true identity. Or, to save Petra's life, will Raissa become an enemy of Gideon?
