D. A. Carson is research professor of New Testament at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois.R. T. France has taught at London Bible College and was principal of Wycliffe Hall, Oxford, from 1989 to 1995. He has also been the rector of seven Anglican parishes. He is the author of Matthew in the Tyndale New Testament Commentary series, The Evidence for Jesus, Matthew: Evangelist and Teacher, two volumes of Mark in both the Doubleday Bible Commentary and the New International Greek Testament Commentary, and Women in the Church's Ministry: A Test Case for Biblical Hermeneutics.Gordon J. Wenham is lecturer in Old Testament at Trinity College, Bristol. He was formerly professor of Old Testament at the University of Gloucestershire. He is a recognized expert on the Pentateuch and has written commentaries on Genesis, Leviticus and Numbers in addition to numerous studies in the Old Testament.J. Alec Motyer (1924-2016) was a renowned Old Testament pastor and scholar. With extensive experience in parish ministry, he was principal of Trinity College in Bristol, England, and was well known as a Bible expositor.
