Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) is a lifelong disability that can affect the brain and body. The FASD Photo Story Project: Nunavummiut Impacted by FASD is a coffee-table book-with text offered in both English and Inuktitut-featuring photos and stories that showcase the strengths and talents of people affected by FASD.

A lifelong disability caused by prenatal exposure to alcohol, FASD impacts both the body and brain. People with FASD may experience daily challenges with motor skills, memory, emotional regulation, and other parts of their lives. Just like everyone, people with FASD also have their own unique talents and strengths. In this book, we provide a platform for people impacted by FASD to share their experiences and perspectives.
