Description
Elsa is fifteen. Her world revolves around independence, boys, and being popular at school, despite growing concerns surrounding the Cuban missile crisis. Knee-deep in teenage angst, Elsa is old enough to feel the tense political climate, but young enough to believe there might be a cure for everything.
About the Author
Maja Ardal is the artistic director of Contrary Company as well as an actor, playwright, and theatre instructor. Maja studied at the Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, and has acted and directed across Canada and abroad. For her illustrious career, Maja was the recipient of the 2002 George Luscombe Award for mentorship in theatre. She currently lives in Toronto.
