On July 20, 2015 the deadline expired for the transposition of the recast Reception Conditions Directive (Directive 2013/33/EU of June 26, 2013 laying down standards for the reception of applicants for international protection (recast), OJEU 2013 L180/96). The presentations on which this book is based, were originally given during a seminar on the Recast Reception Conditions Directive. This seminar took place at the Centre for Migration Law (Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence), Faculty of Law of the Radboud Univ. Nijmegen, on December 8, 2015. In light of the very substantial level of interest, the results of this seminar are included here in order to enable those who were not able to attend to benefit from the wealth of knowledge and information which was shared. The first section deals with the central themes and the issues of the recast Reception Conditions Directive. The second part of the book focuses on the implementation of the recast Reception Conditions Directive in a selected number of Member States.
