These words from the woods are the inspiration within Reflections, a Symphony in Silence composed during a 72 hour retreat. Written in four movements Arrive, Aware, Serene, Renew Reflections invites you to experience a retreat of your own as you journey through this collection of poetry and pictures.

A bit from within:

"Here,

where sounds of silence

serenade my soul,

my pulse slows.

Breath slides deeper,

nudges my heart awake.

In a world where more is better and less is less,

Here,

there's none of that

and all of this.

Here,

land becomes sanctuary

for souls longing to remember

the why of it all in a world of just too much"

Earth stirs the author's curiosity as she listens to what she hears and narrates what she sees. When asked why, she responds, "I am not Mother Earth, but I can mother this earth through words and invitation to show her I care. When I return to the land, I feel most at home within me. Our world is noisy. I wrote this for you as a way to remember what is often drowned by sound, but is always just a pause and breath away."
