Katarina Narvaez has everything going for her-a new job as a neurology physician assistant at a well-known medical facility in Philadelphia and an attractive neighbor with the most striking green eyes who is quickly becoming one of her favorite people.

Until she discovers her new patient, whom she inherited from the previous neurologist, is none other than said green-eyed neighbor, Alessandro De Laurentiis, who happens to live with multiple sclerosis. Oh, and he's on her brother's hockey team, the Philly Scarlets.

The rules are clear-this relationship is off-limits, and Kat isn't ready to risk her career for a man she just met. When one nosy reporter decides to dig deeper, she sets off a series of misfortune for the couple and forces Kat to relive events from her past that she wants to keep buried.
